CEEG and Dupont held CEEG Paper Technical Communication Meeting
The technical communication meeting of prior period trial of New type Nomex paper is held in CEEG Nanjing Since and Technology Park in 9th of June. Xu Zihong, chief engineer of CEEG, managers from the relevant functional departments and subsidiaries of CEEG, four experts from Advanced Fiber Department and factory in Japan of Dupont attended the meeting.
The customized new type Nomex paper for CEEG high temperature resistance transformers is temporarily named as CEEG Paper. This is the first time that Dupont develop new product for certain customer, and this is another application cooperation for high-tech material between CEEG and Dupont since 1999.
During the previous test, CEEG technical people wrapped the turn insulation with different thickness according to the technics of wire wrapping. The test result is that the basic performance such as clinging extent of wire��s turn insulation, stretch alibility of the paper, stretch resistance of the paper while wire changing position with broken edge can meet the present standard. Regarding the work on next stage, Xu Zihong suggested to do the electric performance test such as partial discharge voltage measurement of the paper and vertical insulation model test, meanwhile, he hope that the thickness of CEEG Paper is less than 0.13mm with the allowable performance circumstance in view of the special situation during turn insulation wrapping. Representatives from Dupont said that this is only the primary stage of the research, Dupont would work over the other electric performance and push the rapid progress associating with CEEG on the premise of the achievement of the above performance.
